When buyers ask AI who to hire in your market, be the answer.
Buyers now ask ChatGPT and Google’s AI before they ask a friend. The engines are already recommending someone. Right now, it’s probably not you.
Your next customer isn't Googling. They're asking AI.
When someone needs a realtor, an accountant, or a contractor, more of them ask ChatGPT or read Google’s AI Overview first. The AI gives them two or three names, and the search ends there. No page of ten blue links. No second chance to be found.
If the engines don’t know your business, you’re invisible in the fastest-growing way customers pick who to hire.
This is called GEO. Here's what it means.
GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization: making sure AI engines know your business, trust it, and name it when buyers ask. It’s the successor to SEO. Where SEO fought for a ranking on a results page, GEO fights for a mention in the answer itself.
The engines recommend businesses based on the content they can find and cite. Not on your closings, your years in the market, or the reputation everyone local already knows about. That’s why a competitor with half your experience gets named while you don’t.
It’s rarely a branding problem. It’s usually that someone else published the page the engine decided to trust, and that page doesn’t mention you.
We diagnose it with logged evidence, fix it in your market, and re-measure every two weeks.
| SEO | GEO | |
|---|---|---|
| What you win | A position on a results page | A mention inside the answer |
| What the buyer sees | Ten blue links | Two or three names |
| How you measure | Rank tracking | Named or not named, per query |
| Where the click goes | Your site | Often nowhere |
Four weeks to fix the foundation. Then we prove the movement.
Phase 1 is the audit and the cleanup underneath it. Phase 2 is the work that gets you cited, re-measured on the same logged method every two weeks.
Phase 1: diagnose and fix the foundation
About four weeks. Every buyer-intent question we track for you, run across Google AI Overview and ChatGPT, with every prompt, answer, and cited source on record. A website and content audit whose findings become tracked tasks with owners, not a PDF you file away. Then the cleanup: we claim the profiles that count, fix what’s wrong, and standardize one correct name, address, phone, and license number everywhere. Being on a directory isn’t the same as being in its ranked list, and the ranked list is what gets cited.
Phase 2: execute, then prove the movement
Monthly. Content the engines can cite, written to your buyer questions and published on your own domain, clearing a sourcing and scoring gate first. Review generation running on autopilot. Twice-daily scans of the local threads where buyers ask for recommendations, with talking points you answer in your own voice. Biweekly re-audits on the same logged method, and a portal that answers four questions in plain language: are you showing up, who’s beating you, is it getting better, what’s next.
Three ways to spend money on AI visibility. Only one of them changes the outcome.
Tracking dashboards tell you you’re invisible and stop there. They’re instruments, not a fix. Most check each prompt about once a day and never disclose the variance.
SEO and marketing agencies optimize for ten blue links, then add an AI line item. Ask yours which URLs ChatGPT cites for the buyer question that matters most in your market. If they can’t answer in a day, that’s the gap.
We diagnose it, fix it, and re-measure it on the same method every two weeks, with the cited URLs that tell us which pages to get you onto. And we take one business per category, per market, so we can’t work for your competitor once you sign.
How we compare
| Dashboards | SEO agencies | EagleWorks | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What you get | A score | A ranking report | Named in the answer |
| Runs per question | About one a day | Not measured | Twenty, per engine |
| Who fixes it | Nobody | Blue links only | We do |
| Your competitor | Uses the same tool | May share your agency | Cannot hire us |
How we measure, and why the method is the product
Ask any AI visibility tool or agency one question: how many times did you run that query before you told me the number? Most check once a day and chart the noise. AI answers change run to run, so a single check is closer to a coin flip than a measurement.
Twenty runs per question, per engine
We run each tracked buyer question twenty times per engine per cycle, spread across the measurement day. Published research on AI brand answers puts a stable estimate at ten runs minimum, and as many as 135 for a tight confidence band. We run twenty, with a floor of ten. Never a daily snapshot.
Rates with confidence bands, never yes or no
We report how often the engines name you, with the statistical range around it. At twenty runs we can stand behind a move of about forty points on a single question, and below that we tell you it’s inside the margin instead of selling it as a trend. Every claim traces to a logged run: the exact prompt, the engine, the timestamp, the answer text, and the URL the engine cited.
Two answers to the same question barely agree
Semrush and Kevin Indig ran 100 buyer prompts through the same model at two reasoning depths. Only a quarter of the cited sources overlapped. Almost three in four were different. That variance is exactly what a single run reports to you as fact.
One engine is local. The other is national.
Google AI Overview is pinned to your market, so what we capture is what a buyer in your city sees. ChatGPT runs on a US-national sample, which tells us how the engine talks about your category and who it names, not what one local buyer would see on their phone. We say that out loud because most of the market doesn’t.
What lands in your portal every two weeks
Four questions, answered in plain language. No query mechanics, no jargon. Where the engines name you consistently, where you’re starting to appear, and where the room to grow is.
Am I showing up?
Coverage on every buyer question we track, per engine, in plain tiers. Where the engines name you consistently, where you’re starting to appear, and where the opportunities still are.
Is it getting better?
Question-by-question movement since your last audit, dated, on the same logged method. If a move sits inside the margin we say so instead of charting it as progress.
Who’s beating me?
The competitors the engines name instead of you, in the order they appear, with the pages the engines pulled them from. Usually it’s someone who published the page you didn’t.
What’s next?
Your open items and ours, dated and tracked. What we shipped, what’s waiting on you, and what comes in the next cycle. Nothing sits in a report nobody acts on.
What a real audit turns up
Anonymized findings from live engagements. None of this shows up in a rankings report. It shows up when a buyer, or an engine, goes looking.
We validated the method before we sold it. Eighty-four hand-run browser captures against a matched API sample, same window and same market: 87.5% agreement, with the disagreement sitting below the method's own noise floor. The write-up is available on request.
A duplicate profile outranking the real one
A business profile marked permanently closed, still outranking the live one, with years of reviews stranded on a dead pin. The engines were reading the wrong listing.
A forum thread beating the whole market
A local thread titled looking for recommendations, sitting as the eighth most-cited page in the entire market. Buyers were being routed through a conversation nobody had joined.
A competitor cited 57 times in one cycle
A rival’s profile page on a regional publication, cited 57 times in a single measurement cycle. The engines weren’t citing the magazine. They were citing him.
Reviews that weren’t even theirs
An auto-generated summary on a major platform telling readers the reviews shown were not about this business. It had been live long enough to shape answers.
